China is under another tremendous change nowadays. Fifteen years ago, when I stepped into this mainland, it's very difficult to find a person with updated skills. Now, you can hire an accountant, a lawyer, a software engineer, an MBA easily. Young people are well aknowledged that if they want to survive and expand one's career, professional skill is a MUST. They spent their savings to study in training schools and be more technical. The present situation leads to a new model of cooperate operation and management for knowledge intensive industries. Down sizing and flexible organization are major characteristics. For example, software companies stop hiring huge numbers of full time engineers. Instead, they organized development team when there's a project been kicks off. Engineers work for the company as contractors only for a short period. The number of employees is no longer a symbol of profits in China.
